Vasavi Seva Kendram - The Society that runs Vasavi Hospital, Hyderabad

What is Vasavi Seva Kendram?

Vasavi Seva Kendram was set up in March 1984 as a Society registered under the Public Societies Act. Under this Act, public societies were for charitable, religious and educational purposes. It was founded and represented by Sri Kothuru Seethaiah Gupta for the upliftment and to render services to us. It has been set up to cater to the needs of the public in general in any part of the twin states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, or in India, and more particularly at Vasavi Nagar, Secretariat Road, Hyderabad, Telangana. It provides medical aid and relief, including the establishment, maintenance, and support of the institution or funds for medical expenses.

Vasavi Seva Kendram aims to:

  • Create and constitute a public charitable trust to provide medical facilities.
  • Set up a full-fledged hospital and a research institution
  • Provide undergraduate and postgraduate studies
  • Provide facilities for healthcare
  • Construct hospitals and dispensaries in Hyderabad or any other place in India

Today, Vasavi Hospital, Hyderabad, is one of the visible derivatives of those aims put into practice. We provide efficient healthcare services for your entire family. We develop individualised treatment plans based on your need, including the management of chronic diseases. In case of additional help, we give referrals to the type of practitioner you require and need to go for a consultation, in strictest and absolute confidence.

We will now look at understanding what a trust hospital is, how is it run etc. Most importantly, how can this particular hospital provide healthcare services at such reasonable and affordable prices? The last point is notable because the hospital’s aim to provide healthcare services is taking out the quotient of wanting to make profits or spend on marketing expenses or resource management.
